This policy explains the current information practices of Dump the GOP. The site is an independent editorial project and is not intended for use as a political campaign, party, or fundraising platform. We limit collection to information reasonably necessary to operate the site, communicate with visitors, and maintain safety and security.
Information you provide
The email-interest form currently displayed on the site is a local preview only. It does not transmit, save, or send the email address entered into it. If you contact us directly by email, we receive the address you use and the information you include in your message.
Store preview and local cart
The store is currently a non-transactional preview. Cart selections are saved only in your browser's local storage so they remain available during a later visit; they are not sent to Dump the GOP or a payment provider. You can remove them by clearing the cart or your browser's site data. Checkout, payment collection, ordering, and fulfillment are not active. This policy will be updated before those services are enabled.
Information processed automatically
The site is hosted through Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like most hosting services, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver, protect, and maintain the site. Dump the GOP does not currently operate its own analytics, advertising trackers, user accounts, or profiling systems.
Cookies and tracking
The current site does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. If these practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the new feature is introduced.
How information is used
Information sent by email may be used to respond, maintain records of the correspondence, operate and improve the site, protect the site and its users, and comply with legal obligations.
How information is shared
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that operate the site or email forwarding, shared with entities under common ownership or control for legitimate operational and administrative purposes, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect safety, rights, or property. We do not share personal information with political parties, candidates, candidate committees, or campaigns.
You may opt out of discretionary sharing with affiliated entities by emailing info@dumpthegop.com with the subject “Privacy sharing opt-out.” An opt-out does not apply to processing or disclosure reasonably necessary to provide the site, maintain security, comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect safety, rights, or property.
Communications and safety
We welcome spirited criticism and good-faith disagreement. Communications containing credible threats, unlawful harassment, or other potentially illegal conduct may be preserved and reported to relevant service providers or appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to protect safety, rights, or property.
Retention and security
Direct correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Hosting providers retain technical logs according to their own operational and legal requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.
Your choices
You may ask a privacy question or request review or deletion of personal information you previously sent directly to us by emailing info@dumpthegop.com. Legal or security obligations may require limited retention.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site adds features or activates transactions and fulfillment. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
