Copyright & DMCA Policy

Effective August 29, 2026

Site content

Unless otherwise stated, original text, graphics, branding, and other material created for Dump the GOP are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Names, marks, images, quotations, and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners and may be used for identification, news reporting, criticism, commentary, parody, or other purposes permitted by law.

Fair use and permission

We respect lawful fair use, including uses for criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, research, and parody as recognized by applicable law. Fair use depends on the particular facts and circumstances; no single purpose or label automatically makes a use fair. Nothing in this policy is intended to restrict rights granted by law.

Uses that exceed fair use—including substantial reproduction, republication, licensing, or commercial exploitation of original Dump the GOP material—require prior written permission. Permission requests may be sent to info@dumpthegop.com.

Protection of original work

Dump the GOP reserves all rights in its original material and intends to protect those rights vigorously. Unauthorized uses may be addressed through platform or hosting complaints, takedown requests, direct demands, or other remedies available under applicable law.

Reporting claimed infringement

We respect intellectual-property rights and review specific, good-faith copyright complaints. To report material on this site that you believe infringes your copyright, email info@dumpthegop.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact page address and enough detail to locate the material at issue.
  • Your name and reliable contact information.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice may result in liability. We may share a notice with the person responsible for the material or as otherwise reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to the claim.

Response and removal

We may remove or restrict access to material after receiving a sufficiently complete and credible notice, while we investigate, or when otherwise appropriate. We may request additional information when a notice is incomplete or ambiguous.

Counter-notices

If material you provided was removed because of a copyright complaint and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may email a counter-notice to the same address. Include identification of the removed material and its former location, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law and to accept service of process from the complaining party, and your physical or electronic signature.

No user-upload service at present

The current site does not provide user accounts, comments, or public uploads. This contact process is offered so legitimate concerns about published material can be addressed promptly. It does not state or imply that a designated DMCA agent has been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office or that any statutory safe harbor applies.
